Flexographic, Four-color Process Label
At Polycraft, Inc. we have over 35 years experience in providing customers with high quality color product label printing services. Polycraft, Inc. is a professional label printer, providing high quality vinyl decals and labeling solutions to a range of industries. For this project, we designed a decal sheet that contains 10 warning or instructional labels for the commercial vehicle industry. By printing all of the necessary labels on a single sheet, the customer was able to realize significant cost savings over having to purchase and handle 10 different label sheets.

For this project, we created a peel away label printed on Avery Dennison Transtherm 1C thermal printable rollstock for our customer in the medical device industry. These stent-graft multi-lingual labels were printed using flexographic printing on our Mark Andy 2200, Six- Color Press and finished with clear varnish to prevent scuffing.
These die-cut color labels are produced using the four-color printing process instead of the typical spot color method used on thermal label stock. At Polycraft, Inc. we offer custom graphic overlays that provide a polished look to our customers' products. We provide our customers with over 35 years of industry experience in choosing the appropriate substrates, adhesives, and printing processes for their unique application. This custom Lansing MicroPak enclosure overlay was produced from 0.010" 8B35 velvet textured Lexan with 3M 467 laminating selective adhesive. The die-cut Lexan was printed on our Lawson Seneca screen printing press in PMS black and PMS white. These materials and techniques provide a professional, durable overlay that can withstand harsh industrial environments.

We print and die cut these produce bag labels using Fasson 19616 Bag Tag extra strength material. When our customer, who manufactures audio/video controls for the airline industry, needed a high quality graphic label for their membrane switch, they relied on our 40 years experience in custom label printing. The label is printed on 0.007" Marnot 90 polyester with 3M 468 laminating selective adhesive, using our Lawson Seneca Screen Printing press with silver, black, and opaque white inks. The die cut label measures 2.510" x 1.350" with a tolerance of ± 0.015". After printing, the label is embossed to match the locations of the buttons on the audio/video control.
